Day 1 WARSAW
Arrival at Warsaw airport and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Warsaw.
Day 2 WARSAW - NIEPOKALANOW
After breakfast, we will visit the House of the Congregation of the Divine Mother of Mercy. You will attend Holly Mass at St. Stanislaw Kostka Church. We will proceed to the Old Town and visit the church of St. Anna, where John Paul II celebrated Holly Mass for the young people of Poland. Walk along the streets of the Old Town. In the afternoon departure to Niepokolanow. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Warsaw.
Day 3 WARSAW - CZESTOCHOWA
After breakfast departure to Czestochowa; Jasna Gora Monastery which, along with Fatima in Portugal and Lourdes in France, is one of the most vivid and important pilgrimage sites of the entire Christian world. You will see not only the famous Black Madonna but also the monastery premises. The tour will be led by a resident Pauline monk. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Czestochowa.
Day 4 AUSCHWITZ – KRAKOW
After breakfast departure to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, symbol of horror and inhumanity of the Holocaust. In 1979 former concentration camp was enlisted into UNESCO World Heritage List. After the visit we will continue to Krakow. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Krakow.
Day 5 LAGIEWNIKI – WIELICZKA SALT MINE
In the morning, after breakfast we drive to the Congregation of Sisters of the Divine Mother of Mercy in Lagiewniki, to visit the tomb of Sister Faustina. She worked and died here. In the afternoon you will go to Wieliczka Salt Mine which is enlisted on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Afterwards, we invite you for delicious meal and cold beer in the eighteenth century wooden cottage located next to the Salt Mine entrance. After dinner return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Krakow.
Day 6 KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA – WADOWICE
After breakfast we will depart to visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. In 1999 the World Heritage Committee, UNESCO, unanimously inscribed the breathtaking Mannerist Architectural and Park Landscape Complex as well as Pilgrimage Park into the World Heritage List. Next we will continue to Wadowice - the birthplace of the Pope John Paul II, visit the Pope’s house, which is now a museum. Return to Krakow, free time for shopping. In the evening you we’ll have dinner in the Old Town. Overnight stay in Krakow.
Day 7 KRAKOW – OLD TOWN – KAZIMIERZ QUARTER
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit Krakow along the footsteps of John Paul II. Sightseeing tour includes Bishop's Palace where Karol Wojtyla used to live, St. Florian's Church, Franciszkanska Street with the famous Pope’s window where John Paul II used to show up to talk with Cracovians during his pilgrimages to Poland. Before that you will see the largest Market area in Europe with St. Mary’s Church. After seeing the most important sights in Market area you will proceed to the Wawel Hill, where Royal Castle and Cathedral are situated. In the afternoon horse-driven carts ride to the Kazimierz quarter - the centre of Jewish religion and culture which used to be a separate town. Goodbye dinner in a Jewish restaurant, with concert of Jewish music. Overnight stay in Krakow.
Day 8 KRAKOW
After breakfast check out of the hotel and departure for the airport. Have a nice flight!
